Photos and films that look like you.
We shoot with up-to-date cameras, lenses, lights and film gear, picked for the job rather than for show.
The gear serves the story. Good planning, a calm set and a cinematic eye do the rest, so the result feels like you.

Learn more about Tiasam Studio →
Tiasam was started by Mehrdad Samavati, a photographer and videographer who has been shooting since 2010. Over the years he has built the studio around light, composition and telling a story simply. Today we shoot weddings, portraits, fashion, businesses, events and properties, in photo and in film.
Cinematic films, done properly. The story comes first and the technology second.
From Toronto and across the GTA to wherever a project takes us, we build each shoot around the story, not a fixed setup. Cinema cameras and lenses, lighting, camera movement, monitoring and location sound are chosen for what each project needs.
Commercials, brand films, interviews, events and social content are handled as one production, from the first frame to the final delivery.
One team, start to finish, wherever the story is.
Preparing the world…
Three signature disciplines.
We sort out the details before the shoot so you can relax and be yourself when it counts. Direction is simple and respectful, never more than the portrait needs.

Tell us what your business needs and we will shape a plan around it, whether that is strategy, design, content, ads or all of it, without squeezing you into a standard package.
